Air Max TN

The Nike Air Max TN aka AMP was released in the fall of 1998. The shoe was the first running shoe to feature Nikes Tuned Air system. The Nike Tuned Air system consists of two opposing polymer hemispheres that rebound against each other to absorb shock. The Nike Air Max TN Sneaker is commonly referred to as the Air TN or Air Tuned. The objective was to use the blow-molded air system, combining low air pressure with mechanical elements. Air Max TN is a balance of impact protection and motion control. Hemisphere placement aims for localized control and stability.
